Winery Clients:

Premium Family Owned Wineries

For generations in California, families made their own wines, sometimes tending small vineyards behind their homes or just checking on a ceramic crock of fermenting juice hiding in a closet. It was a tradition for everyone, from mom and dad, to the smallest children, to be involved in everything from growing the grapes, to crushing and bottling (or jug-ing, perhaps) these rustic wines. Today, many small-production, boutique wineries continue that tradition in Napa.

Though technology has made the process easier, and many hire some of the valley's most prestigious winemakers to help craft exceptional, rather than rustic wines, the homegrown feeling is much the same. Walking into tiny tasting rooms, often run by the family themselves, the air is less of a corporate machine, and more of an extended living room where visitors can casually sip a glass of wine while chatting with the folks who know the wine from the inside, out.

Joy Kagele is responsible for advising on product development, sales and marketing activities for domestic as well as international sales. She has the experience of building the national sales and marketing positions of some of the most high profile wineries in Napa Valley, Stag's Leap Wine Cellar, Grgich Hills, Bouchaine Vineyards, Quail Ridge, Liparita Cellars and Staglin Family Vineyards.
Joy is now enjoying the pleasure of assisting these high quality, small family owned vineyards with their brand building.

WINE MARKETING LIAISON IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT IT IS ADDING BOURASSA VINEYARDS TO ITS PORTFOLIO:

Bourassa Vineyards - The turning point for Vic Bourassa, owner and proprietor of Bourassa Vineyards in the Napa Valley, really occurred over a lunch he had in 1999 with the godfather of California wine, Robert Mondavi.

The 2007 Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc is a beautiful crisp white wine which is known for its fruitiness and its racy acidity. This wine offers abundant tropical fruit flavors with hints of citrus on the finish. This Sauvignon Blanc is perfect for pairing with Artisan cheeses of all types, stands up well to a variety of salads and is especially great with light seafood dishes. 85% Sauvignon Blanc, 15% Semillon, and 100% Stainless Steel Fermented.

At some point during that memorable lunch Bourassa uncorked a bottle of his own homemade Napa Valley Pinot Noir and after a few evidently pleasurable sips Mondavi began to encourage the novice winemaker to enter the winemaking field as a professional, not just as an amateur, and it was at that very moment that Bourassa Vineyards was born.
Mandolin Wines - Mandolin Wines has a new website! Mandolin is a collaboration between veteran winemaker Philip Zorn and longtime wine executive Brent Shortridge. Bringing together their previously established relationships with winegrowers in California’s Monterey County, Zorn and Shortridge have created wines that stand out for their balance, finesse and distinct varietal character, as well as their sense of place.
Ceviche Sauvignon Blanc - This crisp, floral Sauvignon Blanc is accented with lemon, tangerine and melon notes balanced by soft herbal flavors, which linger on the finish. It is an ideal companion to seafood, including the lime-marinated raw fish that inspired our brand name.
Estrada Creek - Vineyards established over 100 years ago are the source for Estrada Creek Cabernet Sauvignon. Grapes from this growing area provide complexity and balance to the finished wine.

Consilience Wines - “Consilience” is an old scientific word first defined by 19th century philosopher William Whewell as a way to describe the interlocking explanations of cause and effect among disciplines. The story of Consilience, the winery, began as a more humble interlocking of ideas among friends setting out with an inspiration to simply make the best wines possible in the Santa Barbara wine country.

"Consilience, they are a wonderful Santa Barbara winery and I really think some of the best wines around! " - Joy Kagele

Highlands Winery - At Highlands Winery, we aim to produce big, intense, focused wines from hillside and mountain grapes. We concentrate on two varietals from small select growers in the Howell Mountain region: Cabernet Sauvignon and Zinfandel, and focus on making wines of great power and elegance.
